Happy New Year

Happy New Year! I hope everyone well even though I know nobody is actually reading this. I hope anyone that I can the best. Here is a simple poem I wrote.

Night

Time moves slowly as the day disappears

Time seems to stop for a moment

As the sun releases it last light

Before it gives into the night

The clouds move together

The sun is gone

The world’s enclosed in darkness

As far as the eye can see

Time moves slower throughout the night

Leaving time to think

Time to reflect on the day past

Slowly thinking of what to do as time caves into the night

You wonder what could have happened

What could have been

As you slowly let go of consciousness

To dreams of the days to come
